In order to show what a complete fraud the BCS is once and for all, my dream scenario plays out like this for the rest of the season:
*Stanford holds on to beat Oregon
*Alabama beats LSU today
*Cincinnati loses Dec. 14 to Pittsburgh
*Texas loses the Big 12 title game
*Alabama loses Nov. 27 to Auburn, but wins the SEC West
*Alabama beats Florida in the SEC title game
This leaves the only 2 undefeated teams in major college football to play each other in the BCS Championship game - TCU v. Boise State! Yeah, we all know that the voters will never allow that to happen, and the folks in charge of the computer voting will re-program it to make sure it doesn’t play out that way, but wouldn’t that be just a cool game, both from an excitement perspective as well as a big F.U. to the self-important douchebags in charge of the Big 6 conferences?
Alas, I can only dream…
Stay hard. -mlm
